Mediation

Take the high road. There's better view.

Mediation is for solution-oriented people who do not get stuck with problems, but look for what works for them - and for everyone else.

In a conflict situation, the parties' interest may not only be to resolve the dispute, but also to re-establish communication or to re-new their relationship.

Mediation is an alternative dispute resolution process in which the parties consider what is a "good compromise" that they could make, so that they all feel better.

In mediation, the parties involved are not looking for who is at fault. They are not gathering evidence for court, but solutions for their problem.

As a mediator, I find that the greatest contribution I can make is to help the parties find what works for them. Helping the parties to reach such a settlement in a dispute or interest dispute is a real professional success for me.

Mediation is recommended:

  • In economic matters, when there is a close conflict of interest between the parties, a business relationship that they do not want to break

  • between spouses or life partners who are bound together by children

  • in the event of a crisis in a relationship, where the parties have a clear objective of continuing the relationship.

Why mediation?

The advantages of mediation compared to the legal proceeding: fast, cheap and efficient. Mediation eliminates all the drawbacks of the difficult and rigid legal proceeding, while it only has advantages:

  • extremely flexible
  • has lower cost
  • is completed fast
  • may provide the same result in terms of legal effect

About my mediator activity

I obtained my mediator certificate at Umathum Mediator Academy in 2013, and to expand my knowledge and skills I attended the training of ERA (Academy of European Law) on cross-border mediation in 2023.

I do divorce/separation mediation, cross-border family law mediation (mostly in child abduction cases), and business mediation.

  • Mediation in any kind of legal dispute or conflict of interest between business partners, partner companies, or employee and employer
  • Mediation in family matters: child custody, right of access, divorce, separation of partners, matrimonial property issues
  • Family matters with an international element: international parenting plans (divorce or separation of a couple living abroad, child custody if parents live in different states), matters related to children taken illegally into a foreign country (abduction), disputes arising from the marriage or partnership of parties of different nationalities
